Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Punjab Green Tractor Scheme to support farmers in Punjab. The scheme offers a subsidy of Rs. 1.5 million for tractors manufactured in Pakistan, with 20,000 tractors to be distributed in 2024-25.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Farmers owning 1-12.5 acres of land can apply for 50-65 HP tractors
- Farmers with 12.5-50 acres of land can apply for 75-85 HP tractors
- Applicants must possess a Kisan Card
- Priority given to small and medium-sized farmers who haven’t benefited from similar schemes
How to Apply:
1. Visit the official website https://gts.punjab.gov.pk/home
2. Fill out the application form with CNIC number, mobile phone number, and required tractor details
3. Submit the application along with necessary documents (NIC copy, land ownership proof, recent photographs, and agricultural officer’s certificate)
