1. Sub Inspector – BS-14

Total Vacancies: 48

Qualification: Second Class or Grade C Bachelor’s degree/post-intermediate Associate Degree or 14 years degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, Telecom/Electrical Engineering, Data Science or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC.

Age Limit: 18–25 years.

Physical Requirements

For men:

• Minimum height: 5 feet 6 inches
• Chest: 33 × 34½ inches

For women:

• Minimum height: 5 feet 4 inches

2. Technical Assistant – BS-14

Total Vacancies: 15

Qualification: Second Class or Grade C Bachelor’s degree/post-intermediate Associate Degree or 14 years degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, Telecom/Electrical Engineering, Data Science or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university.

Candidates also require three years of post-qualification experience.

Age Limit: 18–25 years.

3. Stenotypist – BS-14

Total Vacancies: 8

Qualification: Intermediate.

Candidates must have:

• Minimum shorthand speed of 80 words per minute
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute
• Computer literacy

Age Limit: 18–25 years.

4. Upper Division Clerk – BS-11

Total Vacancies: 6

Qualification: Intermediate.

Selected candidates will have to undertake three weeks of Basic Training Course including MS Office, conducted by the National Information Technology Board (NITB), within one year.

Age Limit: 18–25 years.

5. Assistant Sub-Inspector – BS-09

Total Vacancies: 36

Qualification: Second Class or Grade C Bachelor’s degree / BA / BS / Post-intermediate Associate Degree from a university recognized by HEC.

Age Limit: 18–25 years.

6. Constable – BS-05

Total Vacancies: 174

Qualification: Matriculation, Second Class, from a recognized board.

Age Limit: 18–25 years.

Physical Requirements

For men:

• Minimum height: 5 feet 6 inches

• Minimum height: 5 feet 4 inches

7. Constable Driver – BS-05

Total Vacancies: 64

Qualification: Matriculation, Second Class, from a recognized board.

Candidates must possess a valid LTV driving licence issued by a licensing authority in Pakistan.

Candidates must also be:

• Capable of driving cars and light vehicles
• Knowledgeable about the maintenance of vehicles

Age Limit: 18–25 years.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

The required qualification varies according to the position.

Candidates with Matriculation can apply for Constable and Constable Driver positions.

Candidates with Intermediate can apply for Stenotypist and Upper Division Clerk, subject to their respective requirements.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications are required for Sub Inspector, Technical Assistant and Assistant Sub-Inspector positions as specified in the advertisement.

Age Limit

The advertised age limit for all listed positions is 18 to 25 years.

The advertisement states that candidates applying for the above-mentioned posts will be entitled to age relaxation according to the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993, including a general relaxation of five years.

Male candidates must complete the run within 7 minutes, while female candidates must complete it within 10 minutes.

Candidates will also have to meet the prescribed physical measurements.

Only applicants who successfully meet the minimum physical measurement requirements and qualify for the endurance test will be allowed to appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
