The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is expected to announce the Overseas Scholarship Test Phase-III Result 2026 on Wednesday, October 7, according to the latest schedule issued by its Education Testing Council (ETC).
The result will be for candidates who appeared in the Overseas Scholarship HAT-MS and HAT-PhD test held on September 19, 2026. HEC has clearly marked October 7 as a tentative result date, which means candidates should keep checking the official portal for any change in schedule.
HEC Overseas Scholarship Result 2026
The test is connected with HEC’s Overseas Scholarships for MS/MPhil and PhD Studies in Selected Fields Phase-III programme.
According to HEC, a valid HAT score is mandatory for the scholarship. However, the test score alone does not guarantee selection. Final merit also depends on other requirements, including the interview and available provincial quota.
The latest scholarship batch had an application deadline of August 28, 2026, while the HAT test was later rescheduled to September 19.
Answer Keys Already Available
Candidates do not have to wait until October 7 to get an early idea of their performance.
HEC has already uploaded the answer keys for the Overseas Scholarships HAT-MS and HAT-PhD test held on September 19. Candidates can compare these keys with the carbon copy of their OMR answer sheet.
How to Check HEC Result
Once announced, candidates should visit the official HEC Education Testing Council results section and use the available result-checking option.
Candidates should keep their CNIC or other required application information ready when checking their result.
As of October 5, HEC’s official announcement still lists the Overseas Scholarship Test result for October 7, 2026 (tentative). Candidates should therefore avoid relying on unofficial result claims circulating before the official announcement.
