The Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Government of Pakistan, has announced job opportunities for suitable Pakistani candidates in Islamabad. These positions are offered under the project titled “Strengthening of M/O PD&SI in M&E of PSDP.”
The ministry is looking for qualified candidates for two posts: Assistant Private Secretary (APS) and Accountant. Appointments will be made on a contract basis, and selection will be based on merit.

1. Assistant Private Secretary (APS)
Applicants must have a BA or BSc degree. A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute and shorthand speed of 80 words per minute are required. Computer skills are preferred. Candidates should also have at least two years of relevant experience. The maximum age limit is 50 years.
2. Accountant
Candidates should have an MBA in Finance, M.Com, CA Inter, or ACCA Foundation qualification. Computer literacy is preferred. Applicants must have at least one year of experience in maintaining cash and account books and reconciling accounts with the Accountant General Pakistan Revenues (AGPR). The maximum age limit is 45 years.
