• Retired Armed Forces personnel: 15 years or actual service period, whichever is less
• Government servants and contract employees with two years continuous service: 10 years
• Disabled persons for BPS-15 and below: 10 years
• Widow, son or daughter of a deceased civil servant who died during service: 5 years
