Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) has opened applications for its Management Trainee Program 2026, offering young Pakistani graduates a chance to gain professional experience with a monthly stipend of Rs80,000.
PMDC is a state-owned enterprise working under the Ministry of Energy’s Petroleum Division. The latest programme is offered at its head office in Islamabad and will run for one year.
PMDC Management Trainee Vacancies
Two trainee positions have been announced:
- Management Trainee – Sales & Marketing: 1 post
- Management Trainee – Legal: 1 post
Candidates applying for Sales & Marketing must have a BBA or MBA in Marketing, with at least 16 years of education. The Legal position requires a BA-LLB qualification.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is mainly designed for recent graduates. Applicants must be Pakistani nationals with qualifications from an HEC-recognised institution.
Candidates should have at least 16 years of education, a minimum 3.0 CGPA, and must have graduated in 2025 or 2026. The maximum age limit is 28 years as of the advertisement date.
Fresh graduates can apply because post-qualification experience is not mandatory. Both locally and foreign-qualified Pakistani candidates meeting the requirements are eligible.
Rs80,000 Monthly Stipend
Selected trainees will receive a lump-sum stipend of Rs80,000 per month during the one-year programme.
However, PMDC has clearly stated that this is a training contract. It does not create a regular employer-employee relationship, and completing the programme does not guarantee permanent employment with PMDC.
How Will Candidates Be Selected?
Selection will be based on merit. Academic performance carries 30% weightage, the written assessment carries 40%, and the interview accounts for the remaining 30%.
Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for the test and interview, and no TA/DA will be provided.

The last date to apply is October 13, 2026. PMDC’s official careers page currently lists both Management Trainee vacancies as open.
